Louis E. Dieruff High School | Allentown, PA

The $7,727,081 Louis E. Deiruff High School project consisted of 160,000 s.f. of alterations and 60,000 s.f. of new addition.

Bracy’s contract consisted of: demolition, intricate millwork, fireproofing, hollow metal and overhead doors, drywall and studs, wood flooring, lockers/flagpole, signs, gym equipment, elevators and wheelchair lifts.

Bracy completed the project in multiple phases as well as in coordination with other prime contractors. During demolition, asbestos was discovered and asbestos abatement had to be performed. Construction was scheduled around the treatment and removal of asbestos.

For the entire project, the school was fully functional and operational with students occupying the existing classrooms. Bracy allowed for only minimal noise and dust levels so that the school could continue its duties with limited disturbance.
